Michael Zimmer is an actor, writer, and improviser from Portland, OR. After training at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade in NYC he returned to find his comedy home in the Kickstand community. He performs regularly with his improv team Papa? (Westside Comedy Festival, VIIF) and irregularly with other teams (Del Close Marathon, Stumptown Improv Festival). He hosted the monthly character bit show They Came From The Bins!, wrote and performed three original shows with Portland sketch team Night Bus, and directed, wrote, and performed in the monthly sketch variety public access sensation Show Ridiculous (Open Signal). He can also be seen in the last season of Hulu’s Shrill as George.
